When it comes to uploading identification documentation you can do so with ease either on desktop or mobile. In addition to the standard live version, there is also the unlimited demo.

It costs just £100 to open a standard account and start trading. When you open your Markets.com account, it is fairly easy to do so. Simply fill in the details that you are asked for and then complete a short Forex knowledge base test. The next step is to confirm your identity and verify your address before you can begin trading. Unlike some brokers, there are no inactivity fees if you don't use it for a long period of time.

Demo Account

Markets.com offer an unlimited demo account which means that you can use the demo version of the live platform to practise trading with virtual funds. Many traders, both new and experienced, like to test their strategies and techniques on the demo platform before risking their own money on the live version.

Trade Features And Payouts

9.2
Trade Features And Payouts

One of the key considerations when choosing a broker comes down to the trade features and payouts available. People want to know what spreads are available, if they have to pay commission, if there are trading tools and what sort of experience they can expect from the platform, including on mobile phone or tablet.

Leverage

Markets.com allows you to use leverage of up to 1:30. This means that you can trade a larger position with just a small investment. The leverage available depends on the funds in your account. While you can trade sensibly to build up quite a large amount of money, the flipside is that you can incur big losses too.

Spreads

The spreads can be considered high for a Forex broker when compared to others however there are no additional commissions and everything is taken from the spread. Spreads of 2 pips can be fixed on the major pairs such as the EUR/USD or GBP/USD or left floating. In general, you can expect spreads of anywhere from 3 to 9 pips which is quite high given other brokers and what they offer.

Stop Loss

In addition to the stop-loss order you will also find other functions which include take profit, entry limit and entry stop orders. The settings will default to market order unless you make any changes in advanced mode. Stop loss and take profit are two of the more popular trading tools as they allow you to exit a trade at the point you start to lose money or when you want to get out and take the profit.

Platform Types

Markets.com use their own proprietary trading platform which is easy to use and navigate. It doesn't however allow you to customise it to suit your own trading habits. In addition to his platform there is also the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, popular choices for many brokers and familiar to many who are experience in Forex. The search function is easy to find exactly what you are looking for.

There is also a mobile responsive version of the website if you choose not to download the app. On the downside, there isn't a two-step login process and there are limited order types.
